Production


Prosecco DOCG is our main product, yet our red wines (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) prove themselves particularly well-suited to the areas' characteristics. The majority of these vines belong to our wine-making company and this allows for complete inspection of the cycle: regulating everything from treatments and cutting to the quantity of grapes produced per vine. The characteristics of the terrain include clay, marl and a stone that people from Rolle call 'Ru'. These features give the wines their distinct elegance and unique scents.

The company's most important characteristic product is Prosecco DOCG Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, produced in three typologies: Brut, Dry and Extra Dry. In addition, we produce a Spumante 'Millesimato' Charmat Method, made with Pinot nero and Chardonnay grapes, a sparkling Prosecco, a still one and 'Il Passito di Rolle', an excellent dessert wine that Giovanni Rui dedicated to Rolle, one of the most evocative and fascinating spots in the Trevigiana foothills. With red grapes, the Company produces Rugai, a Bordelaise made with Carbernet Franc, Carbernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, which is left to mature for over a year in large barrels, before being bottled. The company also produces Merlot, made purely with grapes by the same name, which is also left to mature for over a year in large barrels. Our collection of wines immediately gained the attention of experts.

So much so, in fact, that our Prosecco Spumante Dry Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG earned itself the Gold Medal at the 'International Enological Contest' at Vinitaly 2005 and the Silver Medal at Germany's 'Mundusvini' in 2005. Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG also came away with another medal at England's 'Wine Challenge' in 2005.
